Description Oleum is used for the control of pernicious scale, red scale, soft brown scale, circular purple and mussel scale, aphids, red spider mite, mealy bug, woolly aphid. This product blocks the breathing pores of insects causing suffocation and rapid death of eggs, larvae and nymphs of insects and mites and adults of soft-bodied insects. Thorough coverage of pests is therefore essential. Dead scale may remain on the plants for a few weeks after spraying.
