Very sturdy, and looks great. Supports my 15″ Surface Book 2, even if put a bit of pressure on it to type on the laptop directly (I have it raised up at an angle about 8″-10″ from the desktop).It’s fairly easy to adjust, but not to the point of being comparable to a pneumatic system (it’s just screws/bolts) – I wouldn’t recommend it if you would need to adjust the height multiple times a day, but it could be possible depending on how well you dial in the tightness of the joints.There’s no documentation in the packaging on how to adjust the tightness, but you need to remove the plastic covers on *both* sides and adjust all four screws (the tools to do so were included). Once you get it to your liking, you probably won’t need to adjust it again. I use my laptop 90% in a raised position, but if I want to lower it for drawing or studio mode, I can do so fairly easily, although it’s easiest if I remove the laptop from the stand. Initially, I was hoping for something that can make the ergonomics similar to a Surface Studio – and while it comes close, you would probably need some sort of magnetic or pneumatic system to make adjustments that easily.That being said, I still might pick up another one for my 15″ Macbook pro, it’s a great piece of hardware.Great value for the price.
