About this item This Thru Axle adapter compatible with instep, Schwinn, Allen sports Thule Chariot, Burley, Hamax, Retrospec and many more brand bike trailers. Replaces your original Thru-Axle so you can attach a bike trailer to your Thru Axle bike. The true length of the axle shaft is from 167mm to 185mm and can be shortened by using the included spacers. You need a standard 5mm hex wrench to do the installing work. The bike trailer hitch is not included in this kit. NOTE: Thru-Axle lengths do not equal to hub standards. An axle has to be longer than the hub to fit with the bike frame. A 12×148 hub does not equal a 148mm long axle. Please pull out the original axle and carefully measure the shaft length and check the thread pitch before purchase.
