(2 PACK) Solid Brass Lead-Free Body Backyard 2 Way Y Valve Garden Hose Connector MHT 3/4″ Inch Thread Splitter Adapter 4 Silicone Hose Washers

Oh how I wanted these to be perfect. I have a new LG washer set with the sidekick pedestal washer and a dryer with Turbo steam. This means that I need to split my hot water two ways and the cold three. LG provides plastic splitters. Because my laundry is over finished space, I didn’t want to take any chances. These are nice, heavy brass. I was worried if they would fit my faucet because the hot and cold are pretty close together, but these fit very well! Unfortunately, there seem to be some nicks on the male ends where the hoses attach and the installers said they leaked. I’m giving only a 50% chance they were correct as they were hesitant to even use them. When I can get some hired help to move my set out so I can redo the waterlines, I will try again. If they leak I imagine that it would be an easy fix. Either using their supplied washers instead of those that come with the hoses or possibly using a file or sandpaper to remove the minor imperfections in the sealing surface. Either way, these will be used as they are very solidly built and I won’t have to worry about then bursting, unlike the plastic ones. I’ll update my review when I put them back.Update: I installed these myself and found that they do leak if you tighten them very tightly. They aren’t leaking at the outlet, but rather at the input. What I found is that the washer was getting distorted and moved out of its proper location. I found that if I tightened them reasonably tight that they work perfectly and the washer does its job. I’m glad I gave these a second chance. Now I have no worries that the tees will be the sources of leaks. Changing my review to 5 stars
