This is an aftermarket version of the OEM 1472A1191, which is the blower fan (aka, squirrel cage fan) for a Coleman Mach 8 AC unit. These things seems to come apart at the worst time (about AM while you are sleeping, making you think a bomb has exploded outside). Make sure you have the right model prior to purchase.The actual swap out is a pretty easy install. You’ll need to take the outer cover off the AC, then remove the plenum shroud to expose the blower fan. Once you are there, the only tool you should need (assuming some bonehead didn’t lose the screw and replace with some bolt – ask how I know) is a T25 driver. You will need about 3-4 inches of reach to get to the set screw, so if you have a short bit, you may need a magnetic extension, etc.Once there, you just unscrew the set screw, the remove the outer washer (there is one on each side of the fan center hub) and then wiggle the fan off the shaft in the direction away from the motor (duh). Make sure to get any pieces of the fan that broke and scattered in the AC unit and clean the area well before installing the new fan. Then, look closely at the new fan. In the center hub, one side has a circular hole and the other side is a double-D hole with two flat sides. You need to install the fan with the double-D facing the motor – there are mating flats on the shaft. Slide the fan on, install the outer washer and the screw and you are done!Overall, this fan seems to be a great value option. It’s fit and function was just like the OEM. It is constructed of some hard plastic and is quite thick/beefy. I expect it to hold up for a long time.
